It’s fine to have dreams, especially big dreams. Going for your dreams is what makes life fun—challenging yourself to live the highest and best you know how.
But some assembly is required.
This means you can’t sit around just thinking and hoping and wishing your dreams would come true. You have to roll up your sleeves and dive in. You have to get dirt under your nails, grass stains on your knees. And get sweaty. You have to do this for as long as it takes to achieve your dreams.
Recognize, too, that some assembly isn’t required only once. You’ll have periods where you can buzz right along but, eventually, you’ll come to a phase where some assembly is required again. Before it’s all said and done, you’ll probably have a number of phases where assembly is required.
Your homework today is to jump in! Do the required assembly for the next step. And, if you get stuck or can’t figure out where to begin, remember you can always turn to mentors, buddies, family, friends, advisors, books, and research librarians, to name a few resources. You can also take a class or devise a program of self-study to shore up your knowledge or skills.
You can do it; you have what it takes! I believe in you!
Post in the comments section how you’re coming along with your assemblies!
I’m so proud of you!
Your Friend and Pep Pal,
