Plenty of Room
I was in the strawberry patch again this past week, picking the last of the berries—what the farmers called the gleanings that they claimed were only good for jam and preserves. A number of CSA members were taking advantage of the last chance to pick strawberries for the season. In spite of the crowd, I was able to find plenty of perfectly ripe berries.
As in past posts when I’d equated strawberries with ideas, this got me to thinking….
There’s plenty of room in the world for you to work your ideas and achieve your dreams, in spite of people right next to you working on the same idea as you. Each of you brings your own particular talents—your own brand of genius—to the ideas.
For instance, no one told the composer Bach to not bother because, a few years before him, Vivaldi already used many of the notes Bach was using. No one made Beethoven hang up his quill pen because Bach has already knocked it out of the ballpark with his compositions…. And humans are still making new, original, and unique music even though there are only a certain number of notes in the scale.

Your homework today is to tune into that Still Small Voice within guiding you using your instincts. Trust in your unique genius and talents and keep taking regular action!
Take the next step!
You can do it!
I’m so proud of you!
Your Friend and Pep Pal,
Lauren
