Several months ago, we talked about making friends with your Thesaurus (click here to be taken to that post). Let me introduce you to a few of my friends—perhaps they can be your friends, too!

As an aside: When you’re feeling off-kilter, this is the time to reach out to your friends and family for their love, support, and encouragement. Also, meet with qualified professionals—as needed—for their advice and guidance.

If you’re feeling unmotivated:

fizz; gusto; sizzling; charged up; fired up; rarin’ to go; vibrant; vim and vigor; zip; zest!

If you’re feeling anxious or unsure:

power; brawny; strong; gutsy; hold steady; steady as she goes!; all is well; at this split-second moment everything is actually okay.

If you’re feeling disappointed, discouraged, or despair:

hang in there; all I have to do today is to take one teeny little bit of a tiny part of a small step today; even though it seems hopeless, help from the Universe is on its way; this set-back is really a set-up to a shortcut to my dreams.

If you’re feeling that you can’t:

one teensy little step at a time is all it takes; one more, just one more step; just one more moment; yes I can!

If you’re feeling frustrated or angry:

harness this energy for the good; use this constructively; there’s goodness here; look for the gift; honor and integrity no matter what.

Your homework today is to get out your mirror! With a big smile and tons of sparkle and pop, say your favorite Pep Phrases and Power Words. Jot your absolute favorites down and refer to them throughout the day. Feel the energy and power zoom through your veins. Harness this and take the next step!

You can do it, I know you can!

I’m so proud of you!

Your Friend and PepPal,

Lauren
