Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation leans on the doorbell. ~Anonymous

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. ~Credited to Thomas A. Edison and Abraham Cowley

These two statements go hand-in-hand. How often do we put off projects ( = opportunities) until “another day” because they seem too hard (= too much work) or because there’s something more enjoyable that captures our interest ( = temptation leaning on the doorbell)?

Your homework today is to NOT shortchange yourself by putting off important projects.  Set a reasonable goal regarding that project (opportunity) and then follow through. Temptation will always be there waiting for you, but it will have to wait until you’re finished!

You can do this, I know you can!

I’m proud of you for staying true to your goals and the path to your dreams!

Your Friend and Pep Pal,

Lauren
