The best way to memorialize all innocents whose lives were cut short is to keep moving toward your dreams.
You may wonder how this is so; it sounds a little selfish and trite. Consider this: Innocents were doing their best to take care of their families and themselves. Given the situation in which they found themselves, they were doing what they could to exercise their right of living a good and just life.
One day, all of a sudden, their lives were taken away from them.
You working toward your dreams takes a stand against the injustice they suffered.
The only way brutality, cruelty, and abhorrent behaviors can win is if we quit, give up, and throw in the towel on living a good and just life—the life of our dreams.
No matter what people say, think, or do about you, no matter how vicious and venomous, stay focused on your path and be sure to take the next step.
Your homework today is to take the next step. Doing so not only honors and memorializes those who lost their lives, it also strikes a blow against man’s inhumanity to man.
You can do it!
I’m proud of you.
Your Friend and Pep Pal,
