No matter what the mess is that you’re in—whether you’ve caused it or not—you can press the reset button. You can wipe the slate clean.
You do this by making different choices.
For instance, instead of becoming frustrated by slow traffic or “idiot” drivers holding you up, choose a different response. You can choose to do some slow yoga breathing that will calm you, you can listen to uplifting music, or you can say a few of your favorite pep words and power phrases.
You can make a different choice!
Your homework today is to become aware of the habitual ways you respond to things—these are choices you are making unconsciously. Habitual choices are keeping you stuck. Identify them and come up with different choices that you can make. Then follow through with these new choices!
