Something to Think About

Nothing astonishes men so much as common sense and plain dealing.

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

On TV and in the media, it’s common to see people behaving badly. It’s so common that we’re becoming desensitized to rudeness and ridicule; we’re forgetting about manners and common courtesy. This makes it easy, then, for us to stand out just by being courteous and our word being our bond.

That which we persist in doing becomes easier, not that the task itself has become easier, but that our ability to perform it has improved.

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

This is an illustration of methodically working toward your dreams by taking one step at a time. At first, it’s hard and even daunting to take the steps but as you persist and consistently take steps and pieces, parts, and bits of steps, you become more proficient at it. You’re better able to do it—practice makes perfect!

Trust your instinct to the end, though you can render no reason.

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Sometimes there is just no good reason why your heart and soul urge you to take a certain direction and compel you to keep moving in that direction. Common sense, accepted logic, and experience may all be pointing in the other direction, but your heart and soul compels you to go the other way.

Follow your instinct—the direction signal of your heart and soul!

You can do it!

I’m proud of you!
