Getting Lost

When we realize we’re lost, most of us panic. We try to backtrack to the point where we took a wrong turn. Or, we may frantically hack through the thick underbrush trying to make a way back to the “right” track.

There’s no need to do any of this!

Instead, treat this phase of your life as a Big Adventure. Put on your Explorer’s Cap and see what new people you can meet—pause a moment and chat with them. See what new places and things you can find—pause a moment and absorb what they have to offer.

Getting lost presents a unique opportunity to find new aspects of yourself. And it just might be a shortcut to your dreams. Embrace it!

Your homework today is to spend time on a Big Adventure—even if you aren’t lost and even if you have only a few minutes. Look for something new: turn your habitual ways of thinking and doing on their head. See if you can come up with a fresh perspective on your life in general or your particular situation right now.

Have fun with this!

You can do it!

I’m so proud of you!

Your Friend and Pep Pal,
