Leaps and bounds are thrilling, exhilarating, and showy. They can be a dramatic way to make progress quickly.

Most of the time, though, forward movement comes from tiny increments that add up over time. This means doing little bits of steps every day, or as often as possible.

Your homework today is to take a tiny bit of a step.

Also, review your week and as you do so, note little spaces within each day when you can fit in completing a tiny bit. Promise yourself to do this every day.

The last part of your homework is, during your review, note the forward increments and the progress you have made this week. No matter how small or seemingly inconsequential, it all counts because it all adds up over time. That means it’s all worth celebrating!

Take the time to congratulate and applaud yourself for this progress. It’s awesome and you deserve to pat yourself on the back.

You can do it!

I’m so proud of you!

Your Friend and Pep Pal,

Lauren
