What I’ve Learned: The Gift

In a number of past posts, I’ve written about rough patches, challenges, obstacles, setbacks, and disappointments. I wrote that they have lessons to teach and, within that lesson, there is a gift also. I’ve encouraged you to not only learn the lesson but to look for the gift.

Today as I was driving home from running errands in town it occurred to me that the gift in the situation may not be something for us to get but rather the gift might be something that we give.

Your homework today is to think about the gifts you can give. It can be something as simple as a smile or a pat on the back, or it can be something big like giving someone a break when it seems as if they least deserve it.

You can do it!

I’m so proud of you.

Your Friend and Pep Pal,
