You Still Have to Take the Steps

You can get many insights from reading self-help books and attending seminars and workshops. You can find support and encouragement from master-mind groups or by seeking the advice  of trusted friends and loved ones. You can also get a lot of help from working with a counselor. She or he will support you in identifying the ways in which you trip up yourself and he or she will assist you in coming up with better strategies and tactics.

In spite of all of this, though, you are the one who still must take the steps. No one else can take the steps for you. You and only you must take them.

Your homework today is to take the next step. Break it into teensy tiny smidgens, specks, and tads—make sure they’re just the right size for you! Then do them, one right after the other.

You can do it!

I’m so proud of you!

Your Friend and Pep Pal,

Lauren
