Review Your Week: Take Out the Trash

The only things of the past to keep close to you are the cherished memories of successes, enjoyable times, and remembrances of time spent with the people you love and care about.

Everything else is trash so let go of it. Let it fade into oblivion. You don’t need it.

Life is to be fully lived, deeply cherished, and richly savored. You can only do that with treasured memories that point you toward the goodness that awaits you still in the future. Beloved memories that give you a boost of gladness that sends you on your way.

Your homework today is to get rid of all the trash of the past that’s cluttering up your mind. It may also be the clutter in your home or office that’s clogging your creative spirit and sapping your energy. It can be items that you’ve outgrown or no longer use—get rid of them! It can also be outdated ways of thinking of yourself—refresh and renew your self-image! And toss all that negative thinking and self-talk right into the garbage because it’s trash!

You can do it!

As you review your week and are getting rid of the trash, you’ll also find gems and valuable nuggets of things that went well for you, projects you moved forward on, and positive things you said and thought about yourself—and even some really sweet things you did for yourself. Celebrate this! This is wonderful stuff and needs to be acknowledged and applauded! & Artisan Workshop Designs & Artisan Workshop Designs

So do it, plan something really neat for yourself to congratulate and thank yourself for doing good. Yay you! You did great!

I’m so proud of you!
