Never again clutter your days or nights with so many menial and unimportant things that you have no time to accept a real challenge when it comes along. This applies to play as well as work.

A day merely survived is no cause for celebration.

You are not here to fritter away your precious hours when you have the ability to accomplish so much by making a slight change in your routine.

No more busy work. No more hiding from success.

Leave time, leave space, to grow. Now. Now! Not tomorrow! ~ Og Mandino

Your homework is to review your week and note the places where you’re procrastinating by filling your hours and days with busywork, unimportant projects, and tasks that may make you feel good but do nothing to push you toward your dreams.

Ask yourself the question “What can I do about this—what am I willing to do about this?” Brainstorm some answers! Choose one that seems as if it’ll work and then implement it!

As always, when you review your week, note the progress you have made, no matter how small or humble the progress. Celebrate this! By applauding yourself for bits of steps taken helps build self-trust, self-esteem, and self-confidence. These are the building blocks of the rock-solid resolve you’ll need that will power you through the rough patches on your way to your dreams.

Pat yourself on the back for a job well done this week. You’re awesome for all you’ve done!

I’m so proud of you!

Your Friend and Pep Pal,

Lauren
