Every man has his own courage,
and is betrayed because he seeks in himself the courage of other persons.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Your courage doesn’t look or feel like anyone else’s. That’s because each of us has a unique path to follow with distinctive gifts and talents that were given to each of us so that we may each have what it takes to achieve our own dreams.
Our own personal courage grows out of our dreams, gifts, talents, and abilities. That’s why my courage doesn’t look or feel like yours and yours doesn’t look or feel like your best friend’s. You don’t need my brand of courage to achieve your dreams—or anyone’s, for that matter. All you need is your own. And you have it in spades. It was packed within you—along with your dreams—when you were created.
So you really do have what it takes to achieve your dreams—including more than enough courage.
Your homework is to take the next step. Break it into small pieces and bits—as tiny as you need to. Then do those pieces and bits!
You can do it, I’m absolutely convinced of it!
Your Friend and Pep Pal,
