Everything you need to achieve your dreams and your destiny is already packed inside of you. In fact, you’re packed to overflowing. You have way more talents, gifts, abilities, intelligence, vision, and more, than you’ll need in several lifetimes.
But that doesn’t mean things will fall into your lap without you lifting a finger. You still must learn, understand, and develop what you have inside. That means you must study, observe, give it a shot, apply what you’ve learned, and practice over and over again.
This may seem overwhelming, but here’s a visual to help you: It’s like going to the store to buy ingredients for dinner. At the store you fill your shopping bags with all the items you’ll need, often buying additional things that you may need later for other recipes. When you take it all home, you have everything required for the recipe, and then some. All you need to do is select the items that the recipe calls for, take them out of their packaging, prepare them according to the recipe and then enjoy! After your delicious meal, you’ll probably find yourself thinking of ways to improve the recipe or maybe thinking of a different one you’d like to try.
This is exactly the same process as developing what’s inside of you. You already went shopping in the Great Storehouse of the Universe; your bags are full (you are packed to overflowing with talents, gifts, abilities, vision, and intelligence). You brought it all with you when you were born into this world, and all you have to do is take a look inside yourself and find what you already have that will help you to your dreams. Then prepare (develop) what you have (talents, abilities, etc.) according to each particular recipe (goal and dream) you’re focusing on right now. Washing, chopping, mixing, sautéing, baking are all steps in preparing a recipe. Learning, studying, applying what you know, and practicing again and again are all steps in preparation of achieving your dreams. Once you’ve celebrated achieving you’re dreams, you’ll be on to the next set you want to achieve!
Your homework today is to think of the path to your dreams in terms of something that is not so overwhelming such as making a recipe or building something—a birdhouse, for instance. They’re all step-by-step procedures!
Then break each step into mini steps, such as when the recipe calls for a half cup of milk—the mini steps are: finding the half cup measure, getting the milk out of the refrigerator, pouring it into the measuring cup, putting that liquid into the mixing bowl according to the instructions, and then referring to the recipe to find the next step.
Treat the steps to your dreams in the same manner!
You can do it, I know you can!
I’m so proud of you!
