I’ve found that when I’m in the thick of things I reallyreallyreally have to be hyper-vigilant in monitoring my thoughts and feelings. It’s soooooo easy to become demoralized and then to give up.
I’ve found that it’s essential to push back when those negative thoughts and the hopelessness try to weasel their way into my mind. I do this by telling myself that better days are ahead. Then I remind myself that moving forward–even in itsy bitsy, teeny tiny steps–will help me get to those better days sooner. Even if I’m unsure of what to do, I’ve found that taking the next best, most logical step is the way through a bad day.

What do you do when you have a bad day–how do you push back? Leave your tips in the comments section below. Thanks!
I’m proud of you!
