Difficulties and Problems: How they Come About

It’s because you’re not making a decision that you’re running into problems. ~Anonymous

To add to today’s quote, and to tie it into yesterday’s post (click here to be taken to it), the decision we may be having trouble making is related to our reluctance–outright fear, even–of stepping into the next level of our True Selves.

Perhaps it’s because we’re resisting The Universe’s gentle push to step farther into our True Lives–okay, you’re right, sometimes it feels like The Universe is throwing us under a bus!

As yesterday’s post alludes, although it’s work, it’s like the work you do opening your gifts on your birthday. It takes effort to rip off the bows and wrapping paper–especially if you have a joker in the family who likes to wrap things extra tight! And you have to work to open that box–especially the dreaded hard plastic package that some items are encased in. And it takes some work when you see the nerve-wracking words “Some Assembly Required”. But you know for sure that as you put the work in, you WILL get the gift. And the work WILL be worth it–even the “Some Assembly Required” work!

This is the same thing with difficulties and problems. Do the work of being present, of observing and being aware of what’s being presented to you. Do the work of saying “yes” so the Gift is revealed. Even a small “yes” to a little piece of the Gift is good.

Always remember that decisions are exactly the same as steps: You can break big decisions into little tidbits of decisions and make them one little decision at a time.

WooHoo for tidbits!

The Gift is there for you, wanting you to hurry up and claim it!

What decision do you need to make? What little tidbit of it can you say “yes” to?

Accept the Gift!

I know you can do it!

Let me know how it’s going for you in the comments section below. And let me know how you’re enjoying your Gift!  🙂

Your Friend and Pep Pal,
