Not sure what to do during a rest break? Here are the 11 suggestions:
~Write short essay on a topic as if it was for a blog post or a journal entry;
~Compose a poem–funny or serious–for a friend or loved one;

~Doodle;
~Daydream;
~Gaze out the window and see animals or other shapes in the clouds;
~Draw a picture for your kids and post it on the refrigerator at home–just like you do for the pictures they draw for you;
~Keep a bottle of bubble solution handy and blow bubbles during your break;
~Tap out rhythms or beats;
~Slowly eat a piece of fruit that you like taking the time to describe to yourself the texture, the taste, the smell, the total sensory experience;
~Another way to eat the fruit slowly is to describe the full sensory experience using words that are new for you–ones that you wouldn’t typically use;
~Another variation of the fruit eating with descriptions exercise is using made up words that, to you, perfectly describe the sensory experience.

I liked the bubble blowing suggestion. Let me know which ones you like best. Leave a note in the comments section below. Thanks!
