Sooner or Later?

We are all excited when we have a new idea–a good idea–and we’re eager to get going on it, but all we seem to be able to do is talk about it. And, fairly soon, we’ve talked the idea to death and it has no joy or energy or oomph to it any more.

How do we stop this from happening? How do we harness the enthusiasm of the idea formation stage and let it power us into the action phase?

It comes down to asking ourselves one question and being very very honest with the answer: will our lives be better if we achieved our dreams sooner or will our lives be better if we achieved our dreams later?

If you answer that your life will be better if you achieved your dreams later on, then by all means procrastinate and drag your feet. Throw in the towel and give up a time or two as well.  Dawdle and hesitate for as long as you can!

But if you answered that your life would be better if you achieved your dreams sooner, then TAKE THE NEXT STEP RIGHT NOW! And keep taking steps as often as you can!

YOU get to decide when you’ll achieve your dreams–whether it’ll be sooner or if it’ll be later, if at all.

So, what’ll it be?
