Here are a few quotes that connect with yesterday’s quotes:
You are, at this moment, standing right in the middle of your own acres of diamonds. ~Earl Nightingale
I love Earl Nightingale. His thoughts are incisive and right on the mark as shown with this quote. Sometimes we think than in order to achieve our dreams we need to be or have more than or less than who we are or what we have. Earl Nightingale’s quote reminds us to take stock of where we find ourselves and trust that there is far more to us than even we know about, and all of this will help us take the next step. In other words, we have what it takes to take the next step!

Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might as well put that passing to the best possible use. ~Earl Nightingale
Here’s another quote that reminds me why Earl Nightingale remains my all-time favorite thought leader. Have you ever been overwhelmed and daunted by the path ahead because you’re dismayed by the time commitment? There have been times in my life when I’ve let this thought get to me. Earl Nightingale is so right, though. The time will pass whether we are striving for our dreams or if we’re busy doing other things or if we’re just goofing off: Time marches on–relentlessly! What are you going to do with your time?
In truth, people can generally make time for what they choose to do; it is not really the time but the will that is lacking. ~Sir John Lubbock
Talk about hitting the nail on the head!! I worked with a person once who, when it was lunchtime, was the first one out the door, however, when it was time to work on auditing a complex and convoluted account, found all sorts of reasons to procrastinate, dawdle, and just not start the project.
We all have unpleasant and even dreaded tasks to complete. The trick is to come up with at least one reason that’s personally compelling that will motivate you to start the project and then sustain you through completion. The motivating factor can be simply that the sooner you start, the sooner you’ll be done with it!

I hope these quotes can help you get a great start to the week. Let me know in the comments below which ones you liked best. Thanks!
Also, feel free to pass this post along to a friend who can use a boost. Thanks!
