Year End Reflections: Evaluating the First Category

This week we’re looking at our goals and resolutions for 2016 and how we did accomplishing them.  On Sunday we took an overlooking view in a light and easy way–no condemnation of ourselves!  Yesterday, we separated our goals and resolutions into three categories:  those we accomplished, those we are still working on, and those that we stopped thinking about 2 seconds after we wrote them down last January!  🙂

Today, let’s take a closer look at the first category.  These are the goals and resolutions we accomplished.  We came up with a plan.  We tweaked our strategies and tactics as we moved forward.  We followed through on what we said we’d do.  We stuck with it during the rough times and now we’re reaping the benefits of self-confidence, self-esteem, as well as the completed project or task or the acquisition of a new habit.

Yay us!  Go team!  We did it!  WooHoo!

For the rest of the day, I want you to think about your accomplishments.  Feel free to add to this category as you remember other things you achieved.

These small things, such as making your bed every day, add up.  You may not think they do, but, at the very least, they contribute to your overall feelings of self-mastery which increases your self-confidence and self-esteem.  And these are the underpinnings of all achievement as well as the solid foundation of a good life.

Feel free to share your achievements in the comments below.  We all want to congratulate you and cheer you on!

WooHoo!  You ROCK!

Your Friend and Pep Pal,
