30 Days of Gratitude to Finish 2020: Day 22

Lately I’ve been thinking about the New Year and how it can be better than 2021.  I think every one of us is!  I’m hopeful that the plans I’m formulating for this blog will make it even more valuable and helpful for you in 2021.

My 3 gratitudes for today are;

  • I am grateful for the insights I have about this blog and how I will implement them;
  • I am grateful for my morning practice of quiet contemplation (same as meditation and prayer, just a different name!).  It helps me start my day with peaceful creativity and sometimes shows all possibilities opening before me;
  • I am grateful for my new evening practice of just before sleep, letting go of the world and slipping into Primordial Energy.
  • Bonus gratitude:  I am grateful for beginning to find my own pace.  The Big Surprise—that’s really no surprise at all—it’s MUCH slower than the frenetic, rushing hither and thither pace that I’ve tried to maintain over the years.  I thought that’s what I was supposed to do to get everything done and to have a good life.  Wrong!!!

What are your 3 gratitudes for today?  What insights are you grateful for?  Feel free to share them in the comments below.  Thank you!

As always, feel free to share this post with friends and loved ones.  Thank you!

Your Friend and Pep Pal,

Lauren

  1. —I so appreciate your bonus gratitude regarding finding your own pace. I’m coming to the same conclusion, that I’ve been driving myself at a faster pace than I am comfortable with. There really is no need to rush! I’m much happier when I find the pace that is right for me which is much much slower and in the moment.
    — Finally getting it, that it’s my choice to create the kind of Christmas experience that I want to, and that I don’t have to respond to the collective energy or expectations around me.
    — My new hiking boots, which are more like flexible comfortable walking shoes. Tried them out on a walk today and they are so so comfortable!
