Keep moving forward. Break the steps into small pieces and tiny bits; whatever it takes to help you forge ahead.
You can figure it out, no matter what.
Not only do you have the intelligence, but there are resources available that you can consult that can help you through your challenges, such as the public library, biographies, Internet, professional associations, to name a few.
You’ve come through the fire before; you can do it again.
In the past, you’ve had struggles, challenges, disappointment, and set-backs. You managed to find your way through and you came out better and stronger. You CAN do it again. I believe in you!
Your homework today is to say these statements to yourself in front of the mirror. Smile when you do so and be enthusiastic and energetic. Make a note of the ones that resonate with you and keep them handy during the day. Repeat them to yourself frequently.
Just because you may not have the outward trappings of success and achievement doesn’t mean you aren’t a winner. Your potential for success is not measured by the size of your bank account, the square footage and address of your house, your lineage, or any other outer form of measurement. Your potential for success is determined by what’s inside you such as looking for the benefit in all setbacks, hanging in there through thick and thin, giving it one more shot especially when everyone’s telling you to quit, digging deep and finding the unbreakable strength within you.
You have it within you to meet and master any adversity.
Of course you’ll have to go beyond your usual “go to” methods and practices. Certainly it might take you some time to solve complicated, tightly knotted problems, but you can do it as long as you keep at it. And of course some of the challenges you’ll meet will test you to the limits, but, again, you can do it. You have what it takes to come out on top. You’ll have to dig below the surface and find hidden talents and abilities within, but they are there. Look for them!
You absolutely DO know what to do.
Not only do you have the intelligence and the special type of genius that’s needed to achieve your dreams, but you have the Still Small Voice within and the whisperings of your heart and soul to guide you. Be quiet and still and tune into these urgings. Let them show you the way. Allow them to shine a light on your path and reveal to you a shortcut to your dreams.
Your homework today is to believe in yourself and to believe you are a winner. You’re destined for the greatness of achieving your dreams!
Repeat these statements to yourself as you stand in front of your mirror with a big smile on your face. Be enthusiastic and pumped up—you’re talking about you and the wonderful life you’re headed toward!
Keep handy any of the statements that resonate with you. Refer to them frequently throughout the day. Let them energize you!
It doesn’t matter what anyone else says or does or thinks or values. It doesn’t matter whether or not anyone else thinks you can do it or not. All that matters is that you think and believe that you can do it. And you can, I know you can! You CAN do it!
I believe in you!
I don’t care what anyone else thinks or says. I believe in you because I know for sure you can and you will do it! In fact, every little teensy step you take means that you are doing it; you’re going for your dreams! Now you can see why I believe in you!
You have what it takes!
I don’t care what has or has not happened in the past. I know that you are more than what anyone sees from the outside looking in. Every moment is your opportunity to press the reset button of your life and discover just how awesome you are!
Go out and achieve your dreams! Break your dreams into steps; break those steps into small pieces and break those into tiny bits. Make them small enough increments that they are easy to fit into your schedule and they are easy to accomplish.
Your homework is to stand tall with your head up and your shoulders back. Repeat these messages to yourself as you smile at yourself in your mirror. Take your favorite statements with you and refer to them throughout your day.
You have your dreams–they chose you and you chose them–because they are meant for you, specifically, to achieve.
You have what it takes!
You are fully equipped and you are fully empowered to achieve your dreams!
You may need to polish your talents and learn to use your power and energy, which is what obstacles and challenges are all about, but you do have what it takes!
You can do it!
You may feel nervous or anxious about going for your dreams, but take it one step at a time. Break those steps into tiny pieces. The beauty of breaking steps into tiny bits that are so small that they are easy for you to achieve and any anxiety you feel is easily overcome.
You have permission and you’re approved to go for it!
Just by the fact that you have the dream in the first place automatically means you have been chosen to achieve this dream. The fact that you were chosen means that you are the best person for the job. This implies that you are approved and you have all the permissions necessary to achieve your dream. So go for it!
Your homework today is to take the next step. Break it into easily manageable pieces and then complete one. Then choose another and complete that. Keep moving forward!
Also, do some mirror work with the phrases above. Change them from “you” statements to “I” statements. Remember to smile and look yourself in the eyes when you speak. And say these with all the energy and gusto you have!
Note the statements that resonate with you. Jot them down, keep them handy, and refer to them throughout your day.
Most people know what their dreams are and they even know what they need to do (in broad strokes, at least) in order to achieve those dreams. People need the reassurance that they aren’t dumb for wanting their dreams, that they are on the right track, that they do have what it takes, that they should go for it no matter what anyone else thinks, says, or does.
With this in mind, here’s your pep rally!
You can do it, I know you can!
You’re awesome; I believe in you!
You have what it takes—you’re smart enough, you’re strong enough, you’re creative enough, and you have staying power!
You are a victor, an overcomer, and you are a champion!
You’re on track; you’re in the right place at the right time doing the right things in the right way!
You’re unique imagination along with your special gifts and talents are ready and waiting for you to tap into!
You CAN believe in yourself; you CAN trust yourself; you CAN do it!
Your homework today is to say these statements over and over to yourself, changing the “you” statements to “I” statements. Stand straight and tall in front of your mirror and shout these to yourself as you smile and blow kisses to yourself. You may feel a little silly being so enthusiastic and you may feel guilty saying these things to yourself. The uncomfortable feelings are well worth it because in return you’ll find your confidence and enthusiasm increasing. And that will help you achieve your dreams and live the life you long for.
We’ve rounded the last corner and now we’re headed down the home stretch.
Last week your homework was to pull out your To Do list for 2014 (click here to be taken to that post). You were asked to choose your top priority items that you most definitely wanted to complete by the end of the year. Then you were to list the steps you needed to take in order to complete the items. You were reminded to break the steps into small pieces that could fit into your schedule and that you knew are easy to do.
Now, today, is the day to implement that plan (if you haven’t already)! Here’s a pep rally to send you on your way!
